AI Generated Images

AI generated images is, no doubt, a game changer! Name a style, name a topic and voila – there you have it! Wellllll….. sometimes. But what I have found is that it often takes a few more steps to really get what you want, or some creative cropping. 

Like this image of a construction worker and a business person shaking hands. Overall it is impressive! But take a closer look. How is the guy on the right shaking hands with his right hand on the left side of his body? (But I was able to do creative cropping with that one.)

And, with this one – I asked for a golf ball and club in a TopGolf like setting… again, looks pretty nice! But, I really want to know what kind of golf game (or modified golf game) you can play with a totally flat club. 

Now the Marvel like cartoon rendering was also amazing, but AI just can’t seem to figure out how many fingers are typically on a hand. 

So AI, for now, is going to be a GREAT tool, but I don’t think it has put us designers out of jobs just yet. But, mashing up the generated images in Photoshop is a game changer!

Oh, and, TRUST NOTHING YOU SEE!!!
